Our Story

Since 2012, the Terry Campese Foundation has been supporting young people, families and community members through mentoring, practical care and programs that create connection.

Why TCF started

Terry Campese spent years as an NRL player doing what he loved, but a career marked by significant injuries also meant lots of time on the sidelines. Rather than waiting until he could play again, Terry decided to do something meaningful with the time.

Having developed a passion for the charity work that came with his playing career, Terry approached Pamela Slocum to help him keep making a difference. Together, they founded the Terry Campese Foundation in 2012 to offer support to those who needed it in the Canberra and Queanbeyan community.

More than a decade on, TCF has grown into a foundation that continues to reach more people, more programs, and more lives - building brighter futures for youth and at-risk members of the community, one person at a time.
