The idea
When COVID-19 restrictions put a stop to the Foundation’s usual fundraising events, TCF needed a new way to fund the annual Youth Mentor Program.
Inspired by the SAS-style challenge format, Terry and Jezza created a version for everyday people who would raise money through individual sponsorship. It captured what TCF fundraising does best: a bit of fun, a serious challenge and a genuinely important cause.
Challenge weekend
Across the challenge weekend, recruits are pushed through a demanding series of physical and psychological activities. The event is designed to test grit, teamwork and mindset while keeping the focus firmly on raising funds for young people.
Staff credibility
The challenge is led by an experienced military team with elite operational, mentoring and performance backgrounds.
