Youth Mentor Program

What is the 20 Week Mentor Program?

Mentoring, challenge and practical growth.

This is a program designed for young people who want to become the best version of themselves.

For 20 weeks, mentors work with program participants to develop their mental and physical fitness in the lead up to an incredible final experience.

The project is what brings the process to life. It is where the lessons and skills gained over the 20 weeks of mentoring come into play, and young people get to see how much they have grown and what they can achieve when they focus and support one another.

Where it runs

Local groups. Shared final experience.

We operate across six regions: Queanbeyan, Goulburn, Canberra, Braidwood, Crookwell and Batemans Bay. Each region runs a separate local 20-week Youth Mentor Program group before all groups meet at the chosen location.

Volunteer mentors are often teachers, social workers or other passionate individuals from the focus regions who offer young people a range of perspectives and types of support throughout the process.

We also collaborate with services like PCYC and Headspace to deliver this program.
